I’m a trauma-informed holistic psychotherapist who is multicultural and offers services in English, Spanish and Portuguese. I work with adolescents(16+), adults and groups using an integrative approach to mental health and wellness. My approach is practical, proactive, and highly individualized. I see mental health and overall wellness as the interconnection between the physical, emotional and cognitive aspects of ourselves. My role as a therapist is to guide and support you in processing your pain, reconnecting with your inner sources of strength and wisdom, teaching you new skills and strategies to help you see your challenges as opportunities for growth, empowerment, and personal fulfillment that will impact all areas of your life! I love diversity, so I welcome people from all walks of life and enjoy working with a number of different issues. I also believe that social justice must be an integral part of every individual, community, and society's health and well-being at large. We are social beings and we are not meant to live in isolation. We thrive and heal with relationships and research has shown over and over again that the therapeutic alliance between therapist and client is the single greatest indicator of therapeutic effectiveness.
